Ashton's swap utilizes a Tesla drive unit to make around 450 hp with a 47-kWh OX Drive divided into two battery packs—one in the frunk and one under the original engine cover. With its BMS monitored by an AEM EV VCU and dashboard, this RSR charges from zero to 85 percent in about 45 minutes via DC fast charging through its CCS1 port. The Porsche features a 60/40 split of its 2620 pound weight and requires the use of Hoosier A1 slicks, though it still makes enough power to blow them off like they're nothing at all.
